Dragon Campus privacy policy
Dragon Campus is made by Arius Interactive (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect and how we use it across Dragon Campus: the website at habidragons.com, the Dragon Campus for Families parent app, the Dragon Campus kids’ app and games, and our school and classroom tools.
What we collect
- Parent and educator accounts: name, email address, password (stored hashed by our sign-in provider), and your settings.
- Child accounts: created only by a parent, guardian, or school. We ask for a display name (first name and last initial), a username, and a password. We do not ask children for an email address, phone number, photo, or location.
- Activity in the apps: tasks and chores, points and rewards, dragon, island, and game progress, and messages between parents and teachers when a school uses that feature.
- Purchases: your plan, subscription status, and renewal dates. Payments are handled by Google Play (Android app) or Stripe (website). We never receive your full card number.
- Support: anything you send us through our contact form or by email.
- Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, device or browser type, and error details, kept by our hosting providers for security and reliability.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
- We do not show third-party ads or use advertising trackers.
- We do not collect precise location.
- We do not use children’s information for marketing.
How we use information
To run Dragon Campus: sign you in, sync tasks, rewards, and game progress between devices, let parents and teachers see their kids’ progress, process subscriptions, answer support requests, and keep the service secure.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run Dragon Campus, who may use it only on our behalf:
- Supabase for our database, sign-in, and server functions
- Unity Gaming Services for sign-in, game saves, and online play in the kids’ games
- Google Play and Stripe for payments
- Netlify for website hosting and our contact form
- Our email provider, to send account and support emails
Inside Dragon Campus, a child’s linked parents, and their teachers and school when the child is enrolled through a school, can see that child’s tasks and progress. In online game rooms, other players see only a child’s display name and in-game dragon. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Children’s privacy
Dragon Campus is built for families and schools. Accounts for children under 13 are created by a parent or guardian, or by a school that authorizes the account for classroom use. Parents can review, change, or delete their child’s information at any time in the parent app or by contacting us. When a school creates student accounts, the school controls that student data and we process it only to provide the service to the school.
How long we keep it
We keep account information while the account is active. When an account is deleted, we delete its data, except records we must keep by law, such as billing and tax records, and a record that an email address already used a free trial, so the trial can't be claimed again. Deleted data is cleared from backups on their normal schedule.
Deleting your account
- In the app: open Dragon Campus for Families → Settings → Delete my account. This deletes your parent account and any child accounts not covered by a school. Children enrolled through a school stay with their school.
- By email: write to hello@ariusinteractive.com from your account’s email with the subject “Delete my Dragon Campus account”. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
- Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions so you are not charged again.
What is deleted:
- Your parent account: name, email address, password, and settings
- Your family’s tasks, rewards, and home currency
- Child accounts you created that are not enrolled through a school, including their usernames, passwords, dragons, island and game progress, and points
- Your link to any school-enrolled child
What is kept, and for how long:
- Purchase and subscription records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires (up to 7 years)
- A record that your email address already used a free trial, so the trial can’t be claimed again
- School-enrolled children’s accounts, which belong to their school and are deleted when the school removes them
- Copies in our backups, which are overwritten within 30 days
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and protected by access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and tell us right away if you think your account was misused.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will notify parents in the app or by email.
